New in our collection: Jaguar XJ40 Sovereign
The Jaguar XJ40 was produced between 1986 and 1994. Officially unveiled on 8 October 1986, it was distinguished by a new design (more angular and opting for rectangular headlights on high-end versions). The XJ40 replaced the Series III, although both models were sold simultaneously until the Series III was discontinued in 1992. In 1993, the XJ40 won the title of ‘Safest car in Britain’. The XJ40 was produced until 1994 and was followed by the X300. The XJ40 was the last car made by the company's founder Sir William Lyons after an endless development phase. During its development, the XJ40 saw significant improvements in design, production and assembly.
The Jaguar is in a clean condition and comes with various documentation to maintenance and 2 keys.
